Before they were the iconic Mystery Inc. we know and love today, those meddling kids were originally in a rock band called The Mysterious Five. The original concept had the gang dealing with real zombies, monsters, and other baddies. But that idea was deemed too scary for network TV, so the concept was revised to make it more suitable for children.
